Section A:
2. Easy/Classroom ensembles Easy/Classroom Ensembles are simple 3-part arrangements (M-Parts), with easy additional parts (A Parts). The melody line (M1) can be played on descant recorder. It is also suitable for flute, oboe, clarinet, violin, trumpet. Part M2 is suitable for 1st year violin or clarinet (below the 'break'), also trumpet, viola. Part M3 is a simple bass line, very suitable for beginner cello. Sometimes, an additional treble clef version of Part M3 is included. Part A1 is suitable for tuned percussion and beginners on many instruments. These ensembles can be used to "mix 'n' match" parts in various combinations, creating duets, trios and quartets. As parts have contrapuntal interest, they will work when the bass (M3) is omitted. The following parts are included in each pack M1: 4x C Melody, 2x Bb melody, 1x Eb melody M2: 2x C Harmony, 3x Bb harmony, 1x Eb harmony, 1x Viola M3: 2x C Bass, 1x Bb Bass A1: 1x C Additional, 1x Bb Additional A2: 1x C additional, 1x Bb Additional (where appropriate) Parts A1/A2 may be freely photocopied To listen to these pieces, click on a title to open the music player. Section B: Print-to-Order 1. General ad-hoc ensembles Flexible ensembles, which can accommodate mixed ability groups of players. Most arrangements have simple optional parts and, even where these consist of very few notes, we have gone to a lot of trouble to make them musically meaningful and easy for a beginner to follow. Arrangements are often contrapuntal in texture and parts can be combined, mix 'n' match fashion, to create duets, trios and quartets, according to the needs of ad-hoc ensembles.
We will prepare you a custom pack of the title of your choice, consisting of a score and twelve instrumental parts. Each instrumental part can be supplied in any transposition.
